The Super Crew Tour is a new team format that combines power, precision, short-game skill and captain's strategy. Teams can carry 4 to 10 players, including a professional captain if you want one. You do not have to bring 10 players. Build your team around your strengths.
Send your longest hitters at the tee shot and take the hole on before it starts.
Your best iron players take over and put the ball where the captain asks for it.
Your best chippers handle everything around the green, where holes are actually won.
Your best putters finish the hole. Four players on every shot, start to finish.
Four players participate on every shot, but they do not have to be the same four players. The four who hit the drive are not required to hit the approach. Your captain can change players based on the situation, shot by shot and hole by hole.
Longest hitters on the tee. Best irons on the approach. Best hands around the green. Best putters to close it out. Your roster is your toolbox, and your captain decides which tools to use.
Each team may have one professional captain, but a professional captain is not required. The captain is allowed to play any shot and is responsible for deciding which four players hit each shot.
That is what makes this a true Captain and Crew competition. Strategy matters on every shot, not just on the scorecard at the end.
Five paid places, with $14,000 going to the winning team. Paid out at the event.
The skins prize and the long drive prize are additional prize money. Neither one is deducted from the $25,000 tournament purse.
The first event is limited to 32 teams. The Super Crew Tour is hosted and sponsored by Backspin Social, the golf simulator venue in Wilmington, North Carolina. Both locations are in play for the opening event. Additional tour dates will be announced.
Entry is $1,500 per team and covers your whole roster, 4 to 10 players. Put your captain's name down and we will send tee times, payment details, and the full rules sheet as soon as they are set. You can also register in person at either Backspin Social location.

Sponsor and vendor booths showcase your products and services directly to participating golfers and spectators on tournament day. Eight are available for the first event, with 32 teams in the field.
